Vega is Markforged's first high-temperature plastic. It is developed by filling ultra-high-performance carbon fiber into PEKK for 3D printing aerospace parts. By reinforcing Vega with continuous fibers, it achieves the strength of aluminum and can be used as a substitute for non-critical aerospace structural components. The surface has a smooth black matte finish, making it ideal for product parts that require minimal post-processing.
